Midnight Chronicles movie The 2009 All in Glass exhibition is taking a new look at China’s photovoltaic (PV) industry.

All in Glass is co-organized by the China Foreign Trade Centre and Messe Düsseldorf China Ltd., and will be held from November 25-27 in hall 13.2 of the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou, China. The event will be held concurrently with the second China International High and New Glass Technologies Forum, with its focus on solar energy. The forum was designed to cater to the needs of glass industry upgrades and, according to event organizers, has received support from the local PV industry. Shi Dinghuan, president of the China Society for Renewable Energy, will speak on the new development orientation of China’s PV industry. In addition, the Shenzhen Solar Energy Society also will host its annual science and technology conference alongside the technologies forum.

The combined evens are expected to attract 95 exhibitors from around the world, with an exhibition area of more than 86,000 square feet.

All in Glass will not only showcase former exhibitors, but will welcome several companies participating for the first time. Among the new presenters, international Bystronic China Co. Ltd. will bring its latest processing technologies to display for trade players onsite. Ulvac Optoelectronics Thin-film Technology, the Sino-Japanese joint venture, will bring in-line rotary multi-layer production lines and the latest anti-reflection technology. The company covers research and development, production and distribution of integrated lines for touch panel production and vacuum tin film devices and related materials.

China Singyes Solar Technologies Holdings and Guandong Shengxing both will bring their latest PV facade installment and adjustment technologies. Singyes has gained exposure for the development and production of thin film, while Guangdong Shengxing is renowned for the production, installment and maintenance of curtainwall.

In regard to encapsulation technology of solar modules, Guangzhou Baiyun Chemical Industry Co. will take part in the forum and showcase the latest solar glue products.
